Data & Deletion

Local history: open History to inspect records. Open a saved report to delete a single scan, or use the History menu to export or clear all history. Deletion removes the stored thumbnail and report, not the source photo in your library. It cannot be undone in the app. Deletion also removes the source-image copy stored locally for reanalysis.

Copies: clearing history does not remove report cards saved to Photos, exported files, support attachments or copies shared with others. Remove those separately. Temporary report and export files may remain in the app cache until system cleanup or app removal. An unread shared image remains in the App Group inbox until the app consumes it. Apple-managed device backups must be managed separately.

Cloud control: withdraw Cloud Scan Permission in Settings to block future photo uploads. Offline Mode also blocks cloud scans. Neither action deletes previously cached results, transaction records or an already submitted image from a provider. Cache and counter retention are explained in the Privacy Policy. Separately, Settings > Privacy controls lets you stop model-improvement contributions and delete stored training photos and scores without deleting credits.

No registered login account exists. Credits use an anonymous account ID; the ID can survive app removal through Keychain and may sync to other devices. Removing the app or deleting history does not close this ledger or cancel/refund a purchase. You can delete the cloud account in Settings > Backup & recovery.

Deleting the cloud account in Settings removes its balance and unlinks retained purchase transaction records from the account ID. Remaining credits are lost, purchases are not refunded, and local reports and photos remain on your device. Transaction records needed for refunds or applicable obligations may be retained without the deleted account ID. For access, correction or other deletion requests, contact treeui.old@gmail.com; we may privately request your backup code to locate records. Never post it publicly. Hive and Apple data are subject to their own procedures.
